Taken around 1989-90 and is a staff photograph taken shortly before Bill Hunter retired followed by the assimilation of District into Lochaber Forest District.

Strontian Forest District, comprised of the former forests of Glenhurich, Morven and Sunart, was formed around 1983 with a new office and District Manager’s house built at Strontian (latter since sold).
