Faskally Forestry Students with Hypsometers

The group with the hypsometers beside the loch, according to Sandy's notes on the back, are:
1. Steve Cooper
2. Ian Carolan
3. Sandy Cram
4. Ian Macdonald.

Can anyone confirm the actual year and also type of hypsometers other than the Haga on the right?
