Darcy Black instructing in use of the chainsaw
The photograph is courtesy of Rod Pimm (North Kessock) who was a student at Faskally Forester Training School from 1959 -1961.
Darcy Black (right) an instructor at Faskally Forester Training School for some time is shown explaining the finer points of operating a new chainsaw. It looks to be a photographic set up as the tree under threat is a fine parkland specimen and would normally not be felled.
Can anyone name the student and also the type and model of the saw?
