Boat work near or on Skye
Photograph is courtesy of Inverness, Ross and Skye Forest District and staff at their Fort Augustus office.
Malcolm Wield from Fort Augustus comments:
‘This shows Chris MacDonald (Wildlife Ranger) loading a quad and looks like Kenneth Knott (District Forester FM & Env) at the helm. The next photograph in the PDF shows Chris MacDonald at the helm. Not sure of the exact location but looks like south Skye in the background. The boat was bought for woodland restoration work access to non-roaded land around Kinloch and Kyleakin on Skye.’
Any further information very welcome.

This was indeed, South Skye. Loch nam Beiste, I think. First day in the sea with her.Running the boat and engine in. Beautiful weather that day. Had a blast! Cracking good boat. Hope it's still going. Last I heard she was on Loch Arkaig?
