Culbin Forest Planting Map — Loch Loy Sectio
Maps are courtesy of Moray and Aberdeenshire Forest District.
A hand drawn map of the last additional area of land purchased along the coast on the west side adjacent to the main forest area in Culbin Forest. The Loch Loy section must have been bought around 1955 as it was largely all planted up in 1956 to 1957. Again species details are light and assume Scots pine was the main species used.
Any details about the forest or your work in the forest are very welcome.
