Culbin Forest Planting Map — adjacent woodla

An updated planting map redrawn in 1946 by the Aberdeen Conservancy Office drawing team showing the outlying woodlands next to the main area of Culbin Forest. The woodlands consist of :
Inshoch Wood
Downie Wood
Hardmuir Wood
Inshoch Moss
Hugh Wood
Kilnhill Wood
The Compartment numbers run irregularly from 159 to 203 and assume most species were Scots pine unless otherwise noted. Of interest are the map notes and boundaries on areas of fire damaged woods which have been replanted in 1947.
