Violet and Carl Kaiser
Violet and Karl Kaiser pictured in Scotland somethime prior to September 1945. Violet, nee McDougall, a resident of Drumnadrochit, met Karl, probably at a dance in Drumnadrochit, when Karl, a French-Canadian was based in Kiltarlity, serving with the Canadian Timber Corps. They married in 1941, and Violet moved to Kiltrality, and raised three children. When production of timber by the CFC stopped in June 1945, Karl and family returned to Alberta, Karl's home state.
Thanks to Violet, Nanny Marshall, and Joyce.
