Glenlivet Forest — Map 4 East of Tomintoul

One of a set of four maps (only three to hand) of Glenlivet Forest (Forestry Commission) used up until around 1968 and adjoined the east side of Map 3.
The mix of planting years point to acquisitions or leases coming in at various times. There are some small areas of 1950s plantings but part of the area has been or was being planted in the 1960s. Compartments 22 -30 and those southwards are light on detail and very difficult to say when they were planted.
