Delgaty Forest Planting Map
Map is courtesy of Moray and Aberdeenshire Forest District and is a lovely hand drawn map of all the various forest areas and small woods that formed Delgaty Forest prior to its amalgamation with the Forest of Deer. Note that the compartment numbers have been changed by adding 200 to the sequence possibly as a result of the amalgamation.
The earliest planting appears to be in Maryhill and Rapla Woods and continues in a small way until 1960 when Wagglehill Wood was completed.
