Womens Timber Corps ladies in Glasgow
Picture courtesy of John Coutts, husband of late Gladys Coutts (nee Donald) WTC.
Photograph taken in Glasgow and in picture are Nan Kerr, Margaret Leith and Gladys Donald (married name Coutts)Women's Timber Corps members based at Garlogie, Corsindae and latterly Glenkindie. This photograph could have been taken after demob or about the time Gladys married John Coutts in 1946.

Just a note regarding the text accompanying the photograph. John Coutts is my Granda and Gladys Donald was my Granny. The text is wrong it should say that the picture was provided courtesy of John Coutts husband of the late Gladys Coutts nee Donald WTC, and again the final sentence where it should say Gladys married John Coutts in 1946, not Margaret. Being part of the WTC was so very important to Granny and something she was immensely proud of, she often spoke of her time in the Jills and of course she would not met Granda if she hadn’t been based at Glenkindie House.
