Retirement presentations on Mull - 1993
Photograph is courtesy of the Forestry Commission office on Mull with particular thanks to Angus Black who took the trouble to source the names and information. The photograph has very high contrast and the highlights have lost definition causing some loss of the people’s features.
‘Angus adds ‘I found out a bit more about the Aros photos, taken in 1993. It was (left – right) John Docherty, Lachie MacFadyen and Hughie Mac Lean's combined retirement event.’
John Docherty was a tractor driver, Lachie worked on fences and Hughie at Aros Park.
Any photographs of people working in the Forestry Commission on Mull and information on when and where it started on the Island would be very welcome.
