Heavy squad in Durris Quarry, Aberdeenshire
Photographs by Colin Smith, Ord Brae, Huntly who was supervising the mchines working in Durris quarry in March 2014 to excavate material for the Forestry Commission forest road surfacing.
The excavator is a JCB 36 tonne machine and the shovel a Liebherr 38 tonne machine, both operated by Limehillock Quarries.
