James Jones Forwarder at Southesk Estate
Photograph courtesy of Drew Smith of Brechin and features The Highland Bear forwarder driven by Dennis Duncan which was on loan to Southesk Estate for two or three weeks while James Jones converted the equipment from an old Nuffield Forwarder onto a County tractor to make a County Forwarder. The boy in the driver’s seat is Dennis’s son Alan Duncan.
On the far side of the Highland Bear can be seen the trailer of the Nuffield Forwarder. The site is the sawmill yard at Southesk Estate.
