The head forester of Southesk Estate and Dennis Duncan paid a visit to Panmure Estate in the late 1970s to advice Alex. Cumming and myself on the best way to extract second and first thinnings ie, mill wood and pulp together in one load by fowarder. I remember Dennis Duncan mentioning that their forwarder was a MB Trac 1000 at that time.
