This machine was a dream to operate especially with a multi power tractor, plants were laid out in neat rows behind it, as far as i know it was imported from Holland and distributed to other nurseries in the area by William Duff himself.

At the time I worked for William Duff in the 1970s he was well mechanised. Apart from the usual tractors plant lifters and seeders etc he owned two lorries one a Ford articulated and a Ford four wheel long "bed" both with open top metal containers that made frequent visits to nurseries in Holland, Belgium, and France.

The shed behind the tractor was where soil was sterilized with a chemical that released a gas cant remember the name now? but the smell was horrendous when it was turned with the front loader
