Map of Mulaggan & Glen Spean — Leanachan For

First resurvey of the original planting maps of Leanachan Forest Map No 6 produced about 1967. The full details of species and planting years are only tabulated at the side but someone has added the details onto the actual compartments. Map also covers part of the lower Glen Roy planted areas. Much of the area covering 1000s of acres was owned by the Forestry Commission but classed as Common Grazings and the majority not released for planting.
The Murlaggan and Glen Spean areas were planted in 1968 well remembered by this author as were the later plantings up Glen Roy in the Grey Corries area.
