First resurvey of the original planting maps of Leanachan Forest Map No 5 produced about 1967. The full details of species and planting years are tabulated at the side but details have also been added to the compartments which were then planted between 1963 and 1967.
More areas up Glen Roy were planted up in subsequent years but not detailed here which involved long drives up narrow tracks then long walks out to the planting sites some of which had large watercourses running through them. Water gates in the fences were a major problem and frequently washed out.
