Early days of attempts to bring in a variety of mechanised felling and tree processing machines which could be suitable for Scottish forest conditions. This is a view of the boom of a Kockums GP felled tree processor (stroke delimber)in the throes of stripping the branches off and cross cutting a tree stem.

The other three views in the PDF show a bit more of the machine which did work quite successfully in this Scotland’s forests for a period.
