James Jones Alp Winch at Slattadale Forest

Another version of Picture No 1612 on this site but the operator is seen outside his shelter. The Alp cable crane winch belonging to James Jones and Sons was originally thought not to be working at time of photograph in Slattadale Forest which was under the charge of Chief Forester at Achnashellach.
Any information on the machine and its operators would be very welcome.
