Presentation to Anne Cameron, Torrachilty Forest
The photograph is courtesy of the family of George Dey. George took many forestry photographs in his forestry career and many are now shown on this web site. Check under ‘Groups’ and George Dey Collection.
Anne Cameron on leaving Torrachilty Forest office at Contin to get married. There are other photographs on this site of the event but this photograph shows some of the other Torrachilty forestry staff at the presentation. They have been named with the kind help of Bill Rayner. In this case they are from the left:
Billie Tulloch (Forest Craftsman)
Anne Cameron (Admin Officer)
Sandy MacArthur (Wildlife Ranger who took over from Isador Symptkowski) - Not Sandy - See comments below.
‘Donsie’ MacLean (Forwarder driver – Bruunett)
Donald MacRae (Chainsaw operator and feller)
Last person not named but could be a former Forester.
Any suggestions as to who the last person is would be very welcome.
