Beautifully drawn front cover of an invitation leaflet to celebrate the 50th year of Newton Nursery. The artist was Charles Blackwood who was a Research Forester based at Newton Research Station.
The PDF contains a message from George Holmes (then Director General), other drawings of the menu and a sketch of the Nursery taken from York Tower on the hill top.
