Felling Corsican pine in Culbin Forest
Photograph courtesy of Moray and Aberdeenshire Forest District with particular help from Lesley Hutcheson who collected a series of general photographs found in the Newton Office and filed them.
No information on this image other than it was taken by the Vauxhall Motors Photographic section and is numbered 35428-25. The year is estimated around 1967 but could be a bit out. Does anyone know the story behind these Vauxhall images and the names of the men?
Note the Valour fuel can, axe in stump and the older type chain saw. If someone was able to identify the chainsaw make and model this would perhaps fix the year more closely.
