Information table on road surface running widths for any budding road engineers considering setting up a route to the old family croft!

This was obviously the official guidance on minimum widths but the author does not recall ever seeing this measurement system being used. The roads foremen and superintendants of works probably had figures for road widths on bends well enough fixed in their minds and it would only be critical when cutting around rock formations to minimise any extra expensive rock work.
