North (S) Conservancy Drawing Office staff

The location is the North Scotland Conservancy office in Church Street around 1974 and shows a part of the large and well lit Drawing Office which house at the time four cartographic staff. The girls are standing around an adjustable drawing table that can tilt and rise a little. Note on the wall behind the North Scotland Conservancy area map with all the FC managed land highlighted in red.
The ladies are from the left Andrea Borsden (Selbie), Joyce Scouller (Livingston), Dina Mackay (MacLeod) and Linda Swanson (Cummings). They were part of the team that produce and up dated all the forestry maps that were used in the forests and for publications.
