Forestry Commission Forester’s Certificate

Image of Wilfred Lawson’s Forester’s Certificate presented in July 1950 following two years training at Benmore Forester Training School led by Harry Watson. However this was only part of the training period as School Candidates required at least two years prior practical forestry experience in a wide variety of forestry skills and following on from School at least a further two years and often more before they could be graded as a Forester.
