Volvo F7 8 Wheel Lorry A53EJS Loaded!
Photograph courtesy of Raymond McKenzie, Muir of Ord who was a driver for JGD Munro of Dingwall Sawmills for many years.
His lorry is seen here loaded with what looks to be two very large Silver or Noble fir logs from Balnagown Estate. The spectacular logs and must have been loaded by another machine as the weights would have been a bit of a struggle for the lorries hydraulic crane.
Can someone name the type of crane?

It was a Fiskars 900. The log was loaded with an ex army AEC Militant fitted with a jib and rope crane by us. We could lift up to 10 tonnes.
