His new lorry with Fiskars hydraulic crane is seen here loaded with logs from Ardverikie Estate. Looks to be a mix of large pole length logs some of which are Scots pine no doubt sned and cut to length by the Harricana stroke delimbing machine.
Raymond recalls driving logs from this Estate for many years as the crop of mature trees was felled and replanted over quite a long period. The author remembers seeing the progress and the new timber roads going in to get connect to the Torgulbin Bridge sited between Laggan Loch and Laggan dam.

I Remember Raymond coming to Ardverikie, pretty sure he managed two loads to Dingwall per day, you could set your watch by him.
