J G D Munro and Partners of Dingwall Sawmills harvesting site on Inverinate Forest showing the one off cable crane winch mounted on an ex army AEC Militant lorry. This outfit was manufactured by the Munros principally by Peter Munro assisted by a skilled mechanic and welder Angus MacKenzie.
Raymond recalls the main winch operator was Ali Matheson with Jimmy Phillips and Alex MacKenzie Allan as choker men and operators at times.
