J G D Munro and Partners of Dingwall Sawmills managed at this time by Duncan Munro, his son Peter and son in law Peter Blake when some of them must have been on a shopping trip to USA or Canada and bought a large Harricanna delimber.

Some years after this two Clark grapple skidders arrived at Dingwall badged with the name Ranger and Model F666. This one arrived in 1990. The machines look robust and have a very business like dozing blade on the front which seems to have its lifting arm and rams safely tucked away inside the engine guards. The skidders were often worked by Jimmy Phillips and Alex MacAskill and it will be seen that they have drum winches fitted and main rollers making conversion to cable skidders a fairly easy process

Does anyone know more about these machines?
