History of Cubin Forest - Historical References
This document is courtesy of the Moray and Aberdeenshire Forest District. It describes a short history and historical document reference list compiled by A H A Scott in November 1975 (This could possibly be Alistair Scott) while as District Officer for the area covering Culbin Forest. The headings used are Location, Climate, Geology and Soils, Archaeology, History, Forestry Commission actions and Wildlife.
A note on another report at this time indicates that A H A Scott was District Officer, J(Jackie)R A Frater Chief Forester and L(Lachie)C MacCallum Head Forester. There is no mention of the names of the Foresters.
The reference list is likely to be of interest to historians.
