Bridge of Cally — Extracting timber —1
Photograph courtesy of Forestry Commission, Moray and Aberdeenshire Forest District.
An example of the effort required to extract timber from various locations, slopes and hard to reach places. Here a farmer’s field is being used to access a devastated wood where a fairly heavy tracked machine with winch is hauling out the cross cut logs.
Can anyone name the type of tracked tractor and its model/size?
