BTD International 8 with Parkgate plough
Photograph courtesy of John Munro, Marypark, who worked as a forestry ploughing operator for the Keith based contractor George Milton. John worked for him for about three years ploughing in many parts of the Northeast and over Inverness way.
This tractor photographed in George Milton’s yard at Keith was used generally for working on fishing roads and other estate work. The plough at the rear looks as though it is mounted directly onto the tractor or perhaps the tractor is just parked next to it. The plough is certainly an unusual design. Can anyone name the type of give a bit of detail about it from the very limited view?
