Loading Riddoch’s Lorry at Huntly

A load of posts being loaded for delivery to a boat at Buckie for transport to the Northern or Western Islands. Handing up the post is Peter Milne who was head clerk in Riddoch’s Office at Mannochhill. John Gray is on the lorry which is parked at Craighead, part of Dunbennan Forest where Riddochs had a small portable mill for some years.
