Parkgate Humpy draining plough carriage and Head

A series of photographs taken at Parkgate Engineering Works owned by the Murray family who manufactured almost all the forestry ploughs from the 1950s through to the 1980s. This photograph possibly taken by Donald Thomson in 1976 shows the standard Humpy draining plough with large diameter wheels, lowered drawbar and S90/-/t head in this case right had throw. Left hand throws were available as well.
