Little information given but the author does know the locality from his posting there in the 1970s. This visitation by Donald Thomson, who took the photographs, was perhaps to do some evaluation of the apical track plates which may have been on Jocky Bank’s Fiat 100C for only a short while. The location is at Glenmore near Loch Mudle well down the Ardnamurchan peninsular then part of Sunart Forest. Accompanying Donald is Kenny MacLean (then N Scotland Ploughing Forester) and possibly Mike Lofthouse from Work Study (back view only).

Also in the PDF is an image of Jocky working on a coulter disc arm hanger tightening up some of the holding bolts. Kenny MacLean in looking on. It is possible that there is only one coulter disc (but hard to see in the images) as one side of the plough may not be working as well as hoped. Certainly in later years no side coulter discs were used.
