Double Mouldboard Plough trials Naver Forest

This view is of a long nosed version of a D60 plough working as part of a work study trial of several ploughs and tractors at Naver Forest possibly in the Truderscaig area but perhaps someone will confirm?
The problems with the lie of the peat ribbon as it leaves the mouldboards are clearly shown with a number of areas where it has fallen back into the furrow. The plough is being pulled by a Fiat 100C (FC62402) driven by Jocky Banks and note that the tracks are fitted with apical track plates.
Several D60 (double furrow plough capable working to depths of 60 cms) plough profiles were tried out over the years but very few, if any, worked well in all peat types. For softer peats the short nosed versions tended to perform the best.
