A series of photographs taken by Donald Thomson in March 1975 shows the results of work done by Mike Lofthouse, Work Study section, on a step cutting sock which was initially the idea of Kenny Logan, the then manager in Forestry Commission Longman Workshop, Inverness. There is a bit of uncertainty over the dozen or so photograph sequence which may cover two different ploughs or two occasions. Only six have been scanned for the web site.
