Drainage Machinery Demo Kershope Forest

A large number drainage machines were demonstrated at an event in Kershope Forest in May 1964. Much of the event appears to have taken place on a cleared windblow site with heavy brash but some sections of standing forest were used to show drainage along cleared and or felled rackways. Photographs by D W Henman.

This is the only photograph of the Michigan 35A machine with a Camberley Digger and going by the depth the wheels have sunk into the ground seems to be struggling quite a bit in the conditions.
