A large number drainage machines were demonstrated at an event in Kershope Forest in May 1964. Much of the event appears to have taken place on a cleared windblow site with heavy brash but some sections of standing forest were used to show drainage along cleared and or felled rackways. Photographs by D W Henman.

A series of photographs of a Track Marshall 55 tracked tractor with front blade and an attached Massey Ferguson 710 digger working in the felled area and also some views of very tidy completed drains within the standing forest. Unfortunately there are no images of the drains within the open felled area. Note the short County working some distance to the left and also the high seat for deer control in the distance past the digger operators head.

See PDF for some drains excavated by the machine.
