Ploughing demonstration at Greskine Forest

This demonstration was primarily for the South Scotland Conservancy staff and quite a large number of plough types were gathered at Greskine Forest for the event in June 1963. This particular part of the demonstration is a great view of a cross draining team in action pulling a deep single furrow plough crossing the normal ploughing to collect and run off the surplus water. Unusually this Cuthbertson draining plough has two large iron wheels. Providing the pulling power are two Fordson County Tractors the one next to the plough (VYT440) with wide but standard length tracks and the lead machine (XXL331 – FC 3496) a wide long tracked Bogmaster County.
The follow up photographs show the plough drain and plough in close up as well as a front view of the whole team. Can anyone name the drivers or any of the assembled onlookers?
