Some images of a research visit in 1961 to Glenamoy Experimental Station in Co. Mayo to look over the Glenamoy subterranean drainage plough from the details of which a similar model was made in Scotland by Clark of Parkgate for use in some wet sites in Scotland.

The photographs show the plough up on its hydraulic linkage fixed to the rear of an unknown tractor type with extended tracks and also some views of the extruded peat ribbon or lumps and drainage recording equipment demonstrated by the Station Manger Mr O’Hare to Mr M V Edwards.
