Parkgate double tine mounted on new Parkgate plough frame on display at the Harrowgate show. This frame appears to have been a collaborative design and production output from three people. Andy Neustein in his History of Plough Development in British Forestry mentions that the original design of the A frame plough carriage was carried out in 1954 by Mr R B Ross who was the Forestry Commission Mechanical Engineer in North Scotland at the time. The actual production was carried out by Messrs Clark of Parkgate under the supervision of John Blane, then Forestry Commission ploughing fleet coordinator.
