New Bogmaster County Tractor

Photograph by County Commercial Cars Ltd showing their new wide long tracked County tractor (Bogmaster)against their standard short narrow model. Note the wide track plates that appear to be two narrow plates welded together.

The Forestry Commission may have encouraged the production of the wide Bogmaster model but no information found.
Year is also uncertain but could be around 1958/9? Any details on the origin and production of this model very welcome.

I believe the long track Bogmaster was first produced by County in 1954. There are images of these machines working on this site dated 1955. The last ones were produced in 1965 based on the Fordson Super Major. Comment left on 20 September 2019 at 16:25 by Phil Gilder
