Mounted Tine Plough Strathdearn Forest

A series of great images of a TD9 (Registration JHT770) tractor with a mounted hydraulic tine on the rear and a front frame with self powered ploughing disc on the front. Quite an unusual combination but assume the disc was for use among old stumps which would have trapped the plough head.
Tine plough lifted by hydraulic ram pushing the pulley upwards into the fixed length rope and shortening the portion that runs to the end of the plough beam. A very elegant solution to lifting a plough head. Note the railway bridge behind.
