Tine ploughing on very stony ground showing the shattered stones in the Loch Droma area in Lael Forest. Tine ploughing on the very stony ground was limited and some areas as hear were turfed by hand. Expt 14 P54 showing the irregular tine furrow among the boulders with plants on spoil some distance from the tine channel. Begg plough used on some of the deeper peat pockets between the rocky areas. Does anyone remember working in this area?
