Trailed Tine Plough — Fetteresso Forest

View of a trailed tine plough working in Fetteresso in 1952. This plough head is mounted on a Cuthbertson beam and working in stony ground with a covering of peat. In this case rubber tyres have replaced the metal wheels of former models and disc coulter the simple knife coulter. Here the winch is being used to pull the plough drawbar in towards the hitching pin on the tractor drawbar.
