Water Buffalo and DMB Plough Strathy Forest

The Cuthbertson tractor and double mouldboard plough are working on a research experimental area in Strathy Forest ploughing at 10 foot intervals giving turf rows at 5 foot apart.
The double furrow shallow plough has two large side arms and discs to rollover the out coming turf keeping it in place and flattening it down. Not working very well in this image as the plough could be a bit below the design depth and producing over large ribbons in the restricted space.
