The Pulp Mill taking shape. One of the tallest in Fort William at 170 feet high is the Power House and the smaller building on its left was the filter house. The building on the middle left of the picture was the finishing end for paper and the long white building behind the power house was paper mill. Notice the effluent holding pond at the bottom left. This was regularly tested by SEPA (Scottish Environmental Protection Agency). Courtesy of Alec Pyper
