Lokomo plough repair at Strath Tummel Forest

Ian has kindly sent in this image of repair work on the Lokomo Plough which has been pulled onto its side. Ian goes on to say ‘In the week starting 27th of July 1970, along with Gordon Walker and Billy Davidson, we rebuilt the plough shank that had been torn off as the operator winched the plough into a shelf of rock under the peat. The outfit, International BTD 20 tractor and Lokomo plough had been in Wales before coming first to the Inverness area then Tummelside. The Welsh operator came north with the plough.
