Dragging Timber with Horses - Inverinan Forest

Duncan MacDougall, Inverinan, who worked at Inverinan Forest from 1948 to 1998 says ‘This photograph was taken on forest road about 300 metres above council road photo.(Picture No2020)
I was not sure about man in the foreground, but asked a lady in Dalavich and she is sure his name is Peter Morrison. Her family worked with horses and she said that it is Peter Morrison also on the front cover of the Touchwood History forestry booklet called "Smell of the rosin – noise of the saw" probably taken about the same site.’

My father is the man holding the white horse by the lochside on page 12 of the same publication. His name was Bob McMillan and had the croft at Upper Braevallich previously the home of Jimmy and Charlie Mitchell.
